About Me

My name is Abbygaile, better known online as Megami, and I'm an artist based in Vancouver, BC. I graduated with a bachelor of arts in health sciences from Simon Fraser University where my areas of interest consisted of health promotion, mental health, and community engagement within health services. At the moment, I work as a casual artist as a hobby and passion project.

I dabble in character design and digital illustration. My personal interests, emotions, aesthetics, and life events influence my artwork and drive my inspiration. I also take pride in my heritage and incorporate Filipino culture into my work. I'm currently exploring areas that intersects my knowledge of health sciences and artistic skills and apply them toward a meaningful goal.

My journey as an artist began when I was a kid. My passion for anime, manga and video games became the root of my creativity and inspired my silly little drawings. Over time, these sketches grew into larger endeavours as my skills improved. I hope to be able to fully dedicate my time to my art and run a small business providing people with things that they enjoy as much as I love making them.
